AW: Again: FlyVideo 3000 and audio

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

hmmm, mine has also the HEF4052BT... But the entry below did again
just produce silence ... I sent two mails to LifeView to request
information concerning all this but they didn't respond ...

What is really disconcerting is, that obviously even having found
the 'right' settings it won't work reliably ... Me too, I had it
working once perfectly and then after power off and rebooting it
didn't. REALLY annoying!

Bye

-Andreas

Hi,

I have a FlyVideo 3000 FM PAL-B (ordered from Australia)

the FM version uses an HEF4052BT?? muxer to select audio, like the FV2K

I'm not sure about the TV, radio entries, but the Line In is working for me.

you should create a new entry for FlyVideo3000FM, start from the
FlyVideo3000 and add

gpiomask: 0x6000

inputs: {{
    name: name_tv,
    vmux: 1,
    amux: TV,
    tv:   1,
},{
    name: name_comp1,
    vmux: 0,
    amux: LINE2,
    gpio: 0x4000,
},{
    name: name_comp2,
    vmux: 3,
    amux: LINE2,
    gpio: 0x4000,
},{
    name: name_svideo,
    vmux: 8,
    amux: LINE2,
    gpio: 0x4000,
}},
radio: {
    name: name_radio,
    amux: LINE2,
    gpio: 0x0000,
  },
mute: {
    name: name_mute,
    amux: LINE1,
}

Also, you might need to change the muting code in saa7134-tvaudio.c, in
function "saa7134_tvaudio_do_mute_input" you have the line

if (!card_has_audio(dev) && card(dev).mute.name) {

that only uses the mute entry if the card is not saa7134

Hope that helps
  Guy Yur
