Pinnacle PCTV tuner problem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

I recently bought a Pinnacle PCTV card but I ran into
some problems while trying to set it up under Linux.
Of course, it works perfectly under Windows. As
written on the box, it's a 'PCTV PAL - BG/I/DK Retail
D/GB/NL'. I couldn't get much information about the
tuner, only that it's a Temic or a Philips.
If I tune into some station while in Windows, I can
continue watching it under Linux after I reboot. The
bttv faq tells me to insmod the tuner module, but that
dosen't help at all. I've tried most tuner types
(temic or philips) but still couldn't change the
frequency.

insmod bttv bttv_verbose=2 card=39 gives me this:
