Hi, I'm stuck with the attempt to watch tv with my AIW radeon -xawtv shows nothing but flickering- and hope for help! here's part of my config: -Kernel 2.4.18 (SuSE 8.0) with * CONFIG_VIDEO_DEV=m * CONFIG_I2C=m * CONFIG_I2C_ALGOBIT=m -gatos ATI-4.2.0 is succesfully installed, kernel-modules videodev & radeon are loaded. -X starts up fine with DRM & DRI -bttv compiled within ori(SuSE) 2.4.18 kernel sources -(compiling bttv-0.7.96 stand-alone fails for whatever reason) PROBLEM(?): modprobe bttv says: /lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: init_module: No such device /lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.18-4GB/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: insmod bttv failed Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters ALTHOUGH dmesg |grep [video,bttv,i2c] results in: agpgart: agpgart: Detected an Intel i815, but could not find the secondary device. (btw.: watching TV with this card when booting W2K works, so there's no hardware problem) Regards, Ditmar.
