help! problem with video capture card

Hi,

Could anybody help me? I'm a new user for both Linux
and bttv-v4l. Now I use one PC(P4 1.8GHz) installed
Redhat Linux 7.1, and some guys updated the kernel to
2.4.7-10. Last I got a new video capture card (IO DATA
PC VCP2M/PCI) and tried to apply it into video
processing project. The hardware seemed no problem,
Redhat can automatically detect it and installed the
bttv driver sucessfully. But when I used waxtv to test
it, I met one problem: there is no normal video in
television, only vertical strip there. Fortunately, it
can vary with the object motion in front of the
camera. When I change to composite1, SVideo and
Composite3, nothing happened only with blue screen in
overlay mode. Some information about modules lists as
follows:

Module Size Used by
sr_mod 15360 0 (autoclean)
emu10k1 49488 0 (autoclean)
soundcore 4464 4 (autoclean)

bttv 57456 0 (autoclean)
tuner 5008 0 (autoclean) (unused)
i2c-algo-bit 7328 1 (autoclean) [bttv]
i2c-core 13440 0 (autoclean) [bttv
tuner i2c-algo-bit]
videodev 5312 3 (autoclean) [bttv]
binfmt_misc 6416 1
autofs 11520 2 (autoclean)
3c59x 26336 1
ipchains 39200 0
ide-scsi 8224 0
scsi_mod 95696 2 [sr_mod ide-scsi]
ide-cd 27072 0
cdrom 28512 0 [sr_mod ide-cd]
usb-uhci 21536 0 (unused)
usbcore 51712 1 [usb-uhci]
ext3 64624 7
jbd 40992 7 [ext3]

I also test v4l configuration with v4l-conf command:
v4l-conf: using X11 display :0
dga: version 2.0
mode: 1024x768, depth=24, bpp=32, bpl=4096,
base=0xf0000000
/dev/video0 [v4l2]: ioctl VIDIOC_QUERYCAP: Invalid
argument
done

I don't know how to check the bttv and video4Linux
drivers version in my Redhat. From above, it seems
something wrong with v4l2 driver. And I don't know the
tuner function in video capture card. I set this
option to no tuner.

Now what I can provide are just these. Thanks for any
help or suggestion in advance.
