saa7134-0.1.7 and gcc

That is to bytesex.
It is just third version of saa7134 modules, which I tryied to compile.
This time sucesfully.
But I had too upgrade my gcc 2.95 to 3.1.
Three weeks I have been watched 'error parsing command near )'
Exactly - 'nil\n"'. My 2.95 did not know to parse that.
I did not foud any info, that newest version of modules requires new gcc.
Is that important information (retorical)?

And where are tv fonts (I mean http://bytesex.org/xawtv/tv-fonts-1.0.tar.bz2 
is empty).

Drivers works well.
