many wintv bt878 cards

Hi -

I've got 10 wintv  cards in one box (SBC & passive backplane) under kernel 
2.4.18 & v4l (1).  It runs for 12, 24 or 48 hours but when they are all 
capturing 320x240 the system will eventually hang with a paging error and a 
memory address.  I think there are too many interrupt requests or some some 
PCI "collisions" happen.   Is there an option I can set on the wintv card 
to control the frame rate at which it grabs images?  Is there a document 
somewhere which details all the registers or settings possible for that 
card/chip?  thank you very much.
