avertv stereo and RH 7.3

Has anyone made this work yet?  

It is detected at boot as card=13 and tuner=2, but xawtv gives a pinkish 
scrambled image with this setting.

So I did some reading and tried card=41, tuner=28, but that gives me a 
green more randomly scrambled image.

The card has a bt878a chip and a philips ntsc tuner.  I think the tuner 
chip is a tda9800t? Or is that the audio chip?

And what does the sony daughter card do?
