  XVideo is really 2 APIs.  One where the application provides pixel
data in Y'CbCr or RGB or whatever and it gets blit to the screen using
the hardware overlay, and it also provides an API where you can control
a capture card (the v4l module in X4 exports this, as does the ati
driver I believe).
