AC10/LML33 and v4l/v4l2 questions

Hi!
I'm developing some videoanalysis software where I must be able to analyse a raw video frame before I send it through the Zoran-chip for mpeg-coding. I have looked at the miro AC10 and the LML33 cards, but I'm not sure which one is better for doing this. Until now I have just a bttv-card and skipped the mpeg coding doing only the analysis part. I've been using the v4l2 API but are prepared to use the v4l API instead, using one of the boards above. My plan is to make a program with one thread grabbing the raw frame into a queue, one thread doing the analysis, and one thread sending the frame through the zoran-chip for mpeg-storage. Anyone worked with similar things? Do anyone have some advise or ideas to make this work?

Adv Thanks ance
