I believe that is a v4l2 driver, whereas I need v4l, I think, to get
everything working over here. I'm not sure what the differences are
between the two, to be honest, so it's possible that a v4l2 driver would
work. Does it ouput to /dev/video0 in the same format? Also, I am not sure
if the pcmcia card is still available...

Several pepole have mentioned using a PCMCIA<->Firewire solution, but I
have yet to find any way to implement getting video in through firewire so
that frames can be read from the video0 device. Let me know if you are
aware of any way this can be done.
