Hi again, On my Flyvideo 3000 card, I'm having trouble running xawtv and fbtv. I can get audio working fine using v4lctl, and can also grab screenshots using v4lctl. The FM radio support of the card also works fine. As soon as I fire up xawtv or fbtv, the system crashes! Doesn't seem to respond to magic-sys-rq either... The audio keeps playing though (probably because the audio for the FV3000 is accomplished by a cable connecting the card's audio out to the soundcards line-in => it bypasses the kernel I'd guess). If anyone has had similar problems / has some idea of what I should send in for diagnosis (& how I should get this data since the system crashes nicely => makes collection of output difficult...) _PLEASE_ shout. NB: this is using a kernel with SMP support compiled in, but running on a uniprocessor machine since I can't compile a non-SMP kernel (see my previous email to the list). Could this be an issue?
