Hi i have a kernel 2.4.18 without patched to 2.4.19.prev4 i have a frame grabber chip make is philips semiconductor it is saa7134.i have downloaded the driver also . when i do make ,make install and then do modprobe saa7134. i will get unresolved symbol. i went thru the mailing list where in it says that get v4l2 and videodev patches and apply before we do make ,make install . i did that also but mobprobe saa7134 is not working and when did lsmod no saa7134 module installed.insmod saa7134 also gives the following error /lib/modules..../videobuf.o : unresolved symbol vmalloc_topage insmod saa7134 failed , insmod videodev.o failed please help me put if any knows on thsi problem to fix give the full details from scratch to go abt in solving this problem -- ========================================== KIND REGARDS, Hemanth Kumar B U Multimedia Systems Lab-204 SERC, IISc Email : hemanth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Tel.No: 394 2896
