Be warned: CPiA chipset is very old, and as I understand, it is not
manufactured any more. It was one of first USB webcam chipsets, if not
_the_ first one.

If you are not committed to CPiA then you probably could explore other
options. All depends on what do you want to do with the camera, and
whether you have any existing requirements that need CPiA.

Usually people advise to buy a supported Philips camera instead. Their
chipset is better in many respects, and the driver was written with
Philips' own specs in hand. You can either use an open source driver
with some functions (decompression) omitted, or you can use binary
driver that has everything.
