Hallo friends,

some weeks ago I sent an question about the DC30 Video Digitizer Card. Maybe,
meanwhile sonmethings are changed. I'm using Kernel 2.4.16.

Currently I try to get a DC30 (Zoran 36057) running. If I load the kernel
module for the Zoran36057/36060 writes this in the syslog:

kernel: i2c: initialized
kernel: Zoran ZR36060 + ZR36057/67 MJPEG board driver version 0.7
kernel: MJPEG[0]: Zoran ZR36067 (rev 2) irq: 11, memory: 0xef001000
kernel: MJPEG[0]: subsystem vendor=0x1031 id=0xd801
kernel: MJPEG[0]: Initializing i2c bus...
kernel: MJPEG[0]: Card not supported
kernel: No known MJPEG cards found.

The Adaptor is known in the PCI-Dump as:

Bus 0, device 10, function 0:
Multimedia video controller: Zoran Corporation ZR36057PQC Video cutting
chipset (rev 2).
      IRQ 11.
      Master Capable. Latency=32. Min Gnt=2.Max Lat=16.
      Non-prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xef001000 [0xef001fff].

As I can see in the kernel module source, there are some constants from the
pci device who have to match any magic key values to find out which card is
present. But I'm not sure, what the right way is, to get the DC30 working.

Can anyone here help me, solving this problem? What is to do to make the DC30
working? Or how can I adapt the kernel module to support the DC30 without
destroying the card?

I'v downloaded some generic information about the Zoran chipset, but I could
find any information about the DC30. Does anyone know a source for the
necessary information (URL/Doc)?

Greetings and many thanks,
Manfred.
