bttv-can't automate tvaudio detection

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Ok...
I don't know much about Linux,
But here is the point...
I have a problem with my PV-951 TV card
I have edited the /etc/modules.conf file,
and the TV card successfully recognized and the tuner
is properly set, but the tvaudio module is not
automatically loaded/probed.
So everytime I start Linux, I have to login as
superuser then execute :
     # modprobe tvaudio
to activate the TV sound.
Can someone tell me how to automate the process ?
My /etc/modules.conf looks like this :

alias char-major-89 i2c-dev
options i2c-core i2c_debug=1
options i2c-algo-bit bit_test=1
alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 bttv
options bttv card=42
options tuner type=5 debug=1
alias char-major-81-1 tvaudio

Regards,
Supartha W.
