Hi I installed the last days a debian/woody with the standard 2.2.19 Driver and the standard xawtv 3.72. This worked. Easy. Then I updated to the 2.4.18 Kernel and tv isn't easy anymore :-) Ok, at first: I've got a Hauppauge PCI TV-Card with Booktree878, an ATI Rage 128, all on a Via Bus (more details can be asked if necessary). modprobe bttv works easy like with the 2.2.19 Kernel, all necessary modules are loaded and everything seems fine. Then I start xawtv and I get a (normal moving) picture and sound. But when I move my mouse courser over the window my whole system freezes (everytime). Nothing helps (no c+alt+<- and so on). 'xawtv -remote' works fine (but is in fullscreen mode too slow to use) fbtv would work. I tried several command line options for xawtv (like -noxv -novm) I also tried to apply the patches for the 2.4.18 Kernel, the same problem. Is there any possibility to stop this or a command line for xawtv or bttv.o? Tilo
