I believe that the FlyVideo 3000 entry is for your config. If you take a look at the saa7134-cards.c file, you'll see that FM is defined. > > > Try to start system without saa7134 (or rmmod saa7134 && rmmod -a) > > then start sound (any application for ex. aumix or kmix or xmms) > > if you see only SB devices run xawtv. I assume that you've managed to get the SB Live audio working fine in Linux? Running aumix or your favorite mixer should enable the audio drivers. Also, the Recording input should be set to LINE in and unmuted. This is a typical problem that shows up where xawtv doesn't have any sound initially then after running aumix, it works. > No sound. > Only reboot from win98se brings a sound on TV. > Well, that should be expected. > > If audio out of TV is connected to audio in of SB you should have > > possisbility to set volume with line. > > Yes, it is. (Search the archives from March 2002 regarding FlyVideo 2000, I've drawn a diagram with the configuration). Plug in your hifi/walkman/etc. and make sure that you can get audio from the SBLive LINE input (you can even use xawtv to setup the audio paths for you since it won't know the difference. After that, if audio still doesn't work, see if 'debug_audio=1' for saa7134 gives you any info on audio detection (dmesg |fgrep saa7134). Last resort, look at the entry for FlyVideo 2000 in saa7134-cards.c, and change the FlyVideo 3000 entry and modify the gpiomask, as well as the entry for TV input to use the amux and gpio values from FV2K, recompile the saa7134 module and reinstall. (As far as we know, FV3K should use the TV audio input for its amux, so it shouldn't be the reason, unless FlyVideo came out with yet another version of its board.) External audio inputs may be the same as for FV2K though (unconfirmed). ---- Wan Tat Chee (Lecturer) School of Computer Science, Univ. Science Malaysia, 11800 Minden, Penang, Malaysia.
