try this:
1 - log in as root
2 - create a directory
# mkdir bttv2 ; cd bttv2
3 - download the bttv2 from http://bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net
# wget http://bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net/download/driver-20020219.tgz
4 - compile and install it
# make ; make install
5 - load the driver
# modprobe bttv2
in my box, this "make install" doesnt work out, so I myself have to copy
the compiled files to the /lib/modules/[kernel version]/misc
hope this helps

Dear Justin:
Thank you very much for your help but I have some questions.
I visited the web you told me and it is going to
http://bttv-v4l2.sourceforge.net/ and the files I found there were
the ones I attached to this mail, but nothing about
bttv2-yyyymmdd.tgz. I am sure it is because my fault not to find them.
This linux world is becoming a little bit complicated for a windows
user like me, up to now. I wonder I could learn at least the basis in
a short time.
