I've trouble about saa71347-0.1.5 and 20020328 modules. Kernels with alsa 0.5 (or emu10k1 from kernel source) and videodevX.20020330 non kernel source modules; gcc-2.95; 1) For 2.4.19-pre4 kernel patched with v4l2 and videodev patches from bytesex.org and i2c-2.6.3 patch; error is in video-buf - uresolved symbol vmalloc_to_page. 2) For 2.5.7 kernel patched with v4l2, videodev and saa7134 patches from bytesex.org and i2c-2.6.3 patch; - uresolved symbol vmalloc_to_page. 3) For 2.4.18 kernel patched with v4l2, videodev and vmalloc patches from bytesex.org and i2c-2.6.3 patch; error in saa7134 - unresolved symbols - v4l_compat_translate_ioctl video_usercopy (theoreticaly resolved by v4l1_compat from videodevX set). For 2.5.7 and 2.4.19-pre4 I canÕt check saa7134.o without video-buf.o (depmod does not screams about any errors in saa7134). Compiling saa7134 warning: "processor.h:502 warning: no previous prototype for 'prefetchw'". Trying to compile saa7134-0.1.4 - error: "unknown field kernel_ioctl specified in initialize" It is possible, that I did not include some important option/module (just staring with video4l), but differents of errors for different versions of kernel says that the metter is other. Anyway I'd be gratefull for any solutions and list of needed kernel modules and options. I'm not programmer. Regards Wieslaw |
