Hello. When I call xawtv in my Skipjack (Red Hat Linux beta 7.2.92) system, it opens its default 384x288 and works without problems. Resizing the window also works ok, fitting the tv image into the window size, respecting the aspect ratio of 4:3 accordingly. If I resize the window, the tv image is also resized to fit the window size, BUT within the limits of 640x480. That is, the tv image is not getting bigger than 640x480, regardless of the window size. Full screen mode also is giving me this limit. The _same_ xawtv does not have this restriction when running in my Enigma (Red Hast Linux 7.2) system. I have even tried compiling my own kernel (2.4.19-pre5) on both systems to test, but xawtv behaves the same as described above: the problem appears in Skipjack, but not in Enigma. I am relatively new to xawtv and maybe this behaviour can be configured somewhere. Is this a problem with my Skipjack system, with xawtv configuration, with bttv, or whatever? Any clues? Romildo PS: I am using a Prolink PlayTV Pro card. Attached you find my ~/.xawtv configuration file. -- Prof. José Romildo Malaquias Departamento de Computação http://iceb.ufop.br/~romildo Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto romildo@xxxxxxxxxxxx Brasil romildo@xxxxxxxxxxx
