Hello, I was hoping to do some tinkering with a v4l driver using Bill
Dirk's v4l2cap.o sample driver from his v4l2 homepage. I currently am
making use of a bttv driver and find I cannot use the sample driver
becuase it requires videodevX which seems to be incompatible with my
patched bttv kernel source and videodev module. Is this correct? The
sample driver seemed like simpler code to start from than the bttv code
itself. DOes anyone know of something similar that I could try out?

thanks.

Try "skeleton.c" from Gerd's page (www.bytesex.org) - it just has the basic outline, but enough to play with...
