Some of these practical issues are not directly addressed by Poynton. I'd basically like to write down: - What's YUV vs Y'CbCr, what formats are used by capture cards - Converting between sampling rates, methods and their problems - How much error is there when performing filtering in Y'CbCr space vs linear RGB space - Interlaced 4:2:0 formats and dealing with them - TV standards for color vs monitor standards Which would save me alot of typing on IRC :) -- Billy Biggs vektor@xxxxxxxxxxxx
