Looks like there's different TV Tuner blocks on the FlyVideo 2K/3K series
in the market, and the variations are getting more messy. I think we'd
need to go back to manual card type override of the driver (ala bttv).

(/etc/modules.conf is your friend. you can pass parameters to the module
via options <module> <param>. Read the bttv docs for more info).

Also, I went to my favorite Computer DIY store this week and found out
that there is a FlyVideo 2000 version with FM Radio. However, since I
don't have the card, I won't add the radio definition for the FV2K entry
as I don't have the means to test it.

On a related note, I noticed in a snapshot of the FV3K posted on the web
recently (mentioned on the v4l list, can't remember the URL, the person
had a collection of video capture card snapshots) that it appears to have
a external HEF4052BT audio mux).

Robert, can you confirm this? Does audio mute work on your card (in
xawtv)?
