TV tuner sound quality... tinny....

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

My Zoltrix TV-MAX tuner pulls in a pretty decent picture, but
the audio is fairly poor.

There is a fair bit of noise in the signal, a bit of distortion,
but also very noticeably very little bass in the signal, it's very
tinny.

Is there a way to improve the audio? Do different cards with
different chips perhaps have better audio?

Failing that, is there any way to run a bit of an graphic equalizer
on the audio to try to make it less tinny? Even if I had to demux
the stream, process the audio and mux it again it might be
worth it.
