Chris There's one MPEG card supported, as far as I know. It's sold by linuxtv.org and it's based on the kfir MPEG encoder chip. See http://www.linuxtv.org/mpeg2/kfir.xml for detailed info. Concerning hardware JPEG-encoder cards, there's a whole list of options. The Pinnacle/Miro DC10/DC10+, Iomega Buz, Linux Media Labs LML33 cards are all supported by the zoran driver. Currently, work is being done on extending this support to the DC30 and the DC30+. There's also support for Matrox Marvel G200/G400 cards with a Rainbow Runner G-series add-on which also does hardware JPEG-encoding. Work is being done on making the same work for the Matrox Marvel G450 cards. For the Matrox Marvel cards, see http://marvel.sf.net/. For the zoran driver supported cards, see http://www.cicese.mx/~mirsev/Linux/DC10Plus. I myself am a happy owner of a DC10+ card :-) Ronald -- - .-. - /V\ | Ronald Bultje <rbultje@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> - // \\ | Running: Linux 2.2.19 and OpenBSD 3.0 - /( )\ | http://ronald.bitfreak.net/ - ^^-^^
