Alan - the part of my post you quoated was in the context of the UK.  
I don't believe that there are CAMs available to decrypt Sky or NTL's
digital cable?

If I'm wrong I'd be very pleased to be corrected and will go shopping
forthwith!  For encrypted channels I have video come into the house in DVB
format, convert to PAL video in the Sky/NTL box, and then recapture and
convert back to mpeg.

That really sucks compared to the DVB-T card.
