The problem:
On run motv warning comes up as follows:
V41: timeour (got SIGALARM) hardware/driver problems?
ioct1:VIDIOSYNC (0) interrupted system call
ioct1:VIDIOCAPTURE (0,fmt=4,size=48x32):device or resource busy
ioct1:VIDIOCAPTURE (0,fmt=5,size=48x32):device or resource busy
ioct1:VIDIOCAPTURE (0,fmt=1,size=48x32):device or resource busy
ioct1:VIDIOCAPTURE (0,fmt=7,size=48x32):device or resource busy
ioct1:VIDIOCAPTURE (0,fmt=13,size=48x32):device or resource busy
When changing stations the fillowing message:
No way to get 128x96 15 bit true colour (LE)
I have enetered both *00x600 and 1024x768 and I have tried defaulting to
VESA mode and although this gives true full screen still get the same
erreor messages.
I cannot work out if it is a Driver, Harwre or Config problem. Maybe it
is just not enough RAM? I was hoping someone may have some advixce as to
where and what to try.
I am running 2.4.10 kernel; celeron 600 cpu; 128 RAM with 16 shared for
onboard vga display; Built in graphics 128Bit 2d/3d AGP Graphics
Accellerator; Graphics card Nvidia Riva TNT2 (Accellerator and 3d not
activated ) 0x10de 0x00a0 AGP nv; Monitor Hyundai 14 Plus hl4848 specs 15
