Re: linux video

Hi Michael and all,

for the non-dutch (probably everyone ;-) ), Michael is asking for
support in my application (LVS) for the Pinnacle Studio MP10, which
seems to be some hardware MPEG encoding device (just as the Hauppauge
PVR) which is no longer supported by Pinnacle.
Since I don't know much about support for this card, I'm forwarding the
question here and make it a bit more general: is there any support (i.e.
drivers) for this card or any work being done to support this card?

Micheal, the card is not supported currently. Support doesn't depend on
the application as much as it does on linux kernel drivers, so someone
would need to write drivers if they don't exist yet. I don't know of any
current existing drivers (I do know that Pinnacle usually isn't too keen
on providing info about their cards...).

Many thanks for any useful comment (and please CC to Michael, he's
probably not subscribed to the list).
