The iomega buz doesnt need resources (other than PCI bandwidth) from
anywhere else. It is however -very- fussy about motherboards and PCI
latency. It works well with 440BX chipsets but can be really dicey with many
others.

The zoran based devices have a maximum capture size of 768x576 or so (PAL)
The brooktree BT848 is effectively lower than that, but for analog video
so is the actual signal 8)
