Problem xawtv and Hauppauge

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I'm having problems with xawtv and Hauppauge WinTV card.
I have perfect radio reception, TV sound is OK as well.
Only the picture I get is like six incarnations of what I should see,
jumping up and down.
It used to work perfectly well until last week-end when I lost
the partition xawtv was located. I reinstalled it's 3.65 version
and bttv version 0.7.87. I don't remember what version I was using
before but it must have been at least half a year old one.
I tried kernel 2.4.2 and 2.4.16, same problems.
I've started to think the card could be broken but this would be
quite a coincidence.

I would be really grateful if somebody could kick me in the right direction.
I'll attach relevant logs from /var/log/syslog

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
Chris
