Hello, Since a few weeks (had to reinstall after harddisk crash...) I can't get my Hauppauge Wintv card to work anymore... I'm still using the same .config of my working kernels before the crash but when I now 'insmod or modprobe bttv', I get all the requiered debug in 'dmesg'. But when I'm starting xawtv for example I get following errors: Enterprise:~$ xawtv This is xawtv-3.64, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.16) can't open /dev/video0: Cannot allocate memory v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway v4l2: open /dev/video0: Cannot allocate memory v4l: open /dev/video0: Cannot allocate memory no video grabber device available the radio is working ok... The only thing that has changed since the crash is the amount of memory. I bought 1GB ram. But I don't think that this could cause the problem. Anybody an idea? Thx!
