Re: jerky/choppy video recording -- additional

I just upgraded my Nvidia drivers from Build #1512 to #2313, even tho i
don't capture with the Overlay ON (always off just incase), I'm seeing a
BIG DIFF in recording quality. It seems that the "jerky" video capture
that I was getting is now resolved with this driver upgrade. Not only
this, but I'm seeing a dramatic increase in the 2d desktop gui
performance (i can now move a window on the desktop allot more faster
and the display redraws it faster).

Without compression 15Bit capture @15-18FPS is smooth!
~8.0K-11.OK writes per second, 11.0K when recording up to 24Bit color
but i loose some smoothness (you dont really notice it unless you
examine the playback).

With MJPEG (AVI) Compression
25% cpu usage on each cpu
~5.0 K writes/per sec
Playback with xanim at these capture settings is semi-smooth...if not
smooth but the audio is out-of-snyc (audio plays faster then video).
Just re-examining the playback, I'm seeing that the audio is also
out-of-sync with the 15/24bit captures also.
