I had the impression that the Siemens driver also was a bttv driver. (i
don't know where I got this idea from) but thanks for pointing that out.
I will look into this with a different view now.

Join the DVB mailing list at www.linuxtv.org to get (voluntary) support
for problems regarding the DVB driver.
