I've been using the Philips USB web cam (680K), though reportedly the 7xx range have a better image quality. See http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/ for some sample pictures and information. I know this camera works with openh323/ohphone as I've been using it for openh323 work myself. The pwc driver's included in recent 2.4 series kernels, though a binary compression module isn't (yet).
