As far as dual processors boards, I'm running Linux on a dual processor from Super micro and two Xeon Pentium II 400Mhz and 1MB of Cash each. In comparison with pentium IV at 1GB I did not notice any difference, but the most important thing is that I never had any problem with the Linux Kernel 2.4.3 and I run 10 serial ports ! the only problems are your drivers !! HI If you need any specific answer let me know. Mario
