I'm trying to use six plain bt878 capture cards ( 2/4 composite inputs ) with 6 - 24 PAL cameras on 2.4.3/2.4.5 kernels. Unfortuanly they all get detected as UNKNOWN and get initialised to use NTSC crystals?? I need to passs the bttv module "pll=1" (28MHz crystal for PAL) to make them work. How can I pass parameters in /etc/modules.conf to bttv's other than bttv0? At the momemnt I just patch bttv_cards.c to setup all UNKNOWN cards with pll=1. Is the max number of bttv supported in one system? I only seem to get the first 4.
