Hello, I'm having problems trying to work with my video card, it's a Zoltrix Genie TV, my computer is a PIII 933Mhz running Red Hat 7.1 with the kernel 2.4.5. When I load the modules, the kernel sends the following message: i2c-core.o: i2c core module i2c-algo-bit.o: i2c bit algorithm module Linux video capture interface: v1.00 bttv: driver version 0.7.68 loaded bttv: using 2 buffers with 2080k (4160k total) for capture bttv: Bt8xx card found (0). bttv0: Bt878 (rev 17) at 02:0a.0, irq: 19, latency: 64, memory: 0xfa000000 bttv0: subsystem: 15b0:400d => Zoltrix Genie TV / Radio => card=46 bttv0: model: BT878(Zoltrix Genie TV/FM) [insmod optiobttv:n] i2c-core.o: adapter bt848 #0 registered as adapter 0. bttv0: i2c: checking for TDA9875 @ 0xb0... not found bttv0: i2c: checking for TDA7432 @ 0x8a... not found i2c-core.o: driver i2c TV tuner driver registered. tuner: chip found @ 0xc0 tuner: type set to 21 (Temic NTSC (4039 FR5)) bttv0: i2c attach [Temic NTSC (4039 FR5)] i2c-core.o: client [Temic NTSC (4039 FR5)] registered to adapter [bt848 #0](pos. 0). seems that the problem is that the card is not found (bttv: Bt8xx card found (0)), but in /proc/pci, I have: Multimedia video controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 (rev 17). IRQ 19. Master Capable. Latency=64. Min Gnt=16.Max Lat=40. Prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xfa000000 [0xfa000fff]. Bus 2, device 10, function 1: Multimedia controller: Brooktree Corporation Bt878 (rev 17). IRQ 19. Master Capable. Latency=64. Min Gnt=4.Max Lat=255. Prefetchable 32 bit memory at 0xfa001000 [0xfa001fff]. So, the card is there. I tried installing slackware, but I receive the same messages, so it's not a distribution problem. Also, the card works on an IBM computer, so, the card is not the problem. what could be happenning? Thanks Simon
