Double Buffering & Interlacing
[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
Hi --
I'm interested in getting rid of interlace artifacts in the vic video I'm
capturing with v4l. THe grabber is currently doing double-buffering, using
the odd and even capture buffers. The result of course is that we get
interlacing artifacts on the video. Since I'm only sending CIF-sized video,
I figured that I could always send one or the other of the fields. However,
the frame rate that I get when doing that is very low (5-6fps). Am I likely
doing something wrong, or is there another way to capture full-rate video
of just one of the video fields?
thanks,
