RE: BT878 Digitizing from Videotape

I would agree that Monster sells primarily brand recognition. I mentioned
that specific product through experience. (Formerly working for a company
where we sometimes pulled composite video cameras out for lengths longer
than they should have been. In a very noisy commercial food environment)

Under load the cables mentioned measured 74.75 +-0.10 ohms end-to-end with a
sample of 8 cables, at 20m. With amazingly excellent loss characteristics.
Beautifully flexible plenum casing, built like a tank. Very low noise.

I'd generally only recommend a product by name that I was particularly happy
with in experience.

(RG6 is RG56 or RG56u now, right? I think that's the newer designation.)

I have no experience with the Monster video or audio cables. My own video
systems use the cheapest possible cables. [grin] (My audio uses *very* high
end. But then, I'm a snob and I pay for it...)

Best of luck!!!
