MPEG 1/2 is a pain for video edition (cut comercials and adding
effects). Besides, if the original is a nice grabbed one, the post-encoded
MPEG stream is much smaller and with a much better quality at low bitrates
(using mpeg2_movie, from heroinewarrior).

I even would prefer grab to raw RGB QuickTime, but I then need 21 megs for
second (1.2 gigs for minute, 74 gigs for hour).

I hope streamer could be optimized too.
