I have similar problem... I am using DIGITAL mode. If I read directly from /dev/dsp2 device, I get clear sound. Buf I I try use SOX to remap this sound source to /dev/dsp, I get noisy sound. ;-( Lukas. > Hi all, hope someone can help with this one. > > i am trying to use btaudio, have a Modular Technology PC210 bt878 card > with no external audio outputs, uses btaudio in analog mode. > > when i do: sox -w -t ossdsp /dev/dsp1 ~/out.wav > all appears to go OK, but playing back the resulting wave file gives > nasty scrambled noise. > > dmesg gives: > btaudio: driver version 0.5 loaded [audio A/D mode] > btaudio: Bt878 (rev 2) at 00:09.1, irq: 11, latency: 64, memory: > 0xe4902000 btaudio: dsp: minor=19, mixer: minor=16 btaudio: > bufsize=131072 - bs=8192 bc=16 - ls=2048, lc=64 btaudio: fmt: bits=16 > btaudio: stereo=0 channels=1 btaudio: rate: req=8000 dec=14 shift=4 > hwrate=128000 swrate=8000 btaudio: bufsize=131072 - bs=8192 bc=16 - > ls=2048, lc=64 btaudio: recording started btaudio: recording stopped > > doing 'od ~/out.wav' gives > 0000000 044522 043106 160044 000000 040527 042526 066546 020164 > 0000020 000020 000000 000001 000001 017500 000000 037200 000000 > 0000040 000002 000020 060544 060564 160000 000000 077777 077777 > 0000060 077777 077777 077777 077777 077777 077777 077777 077777 > * > 0160040 077777 077777 077777 077777 077777 077777 > 0160054 > > seems like for some reason i am getting this repetitive data back from > the btaudio device. i have tried all the analog a/d inputs, have tried > different sampling rates, and it works fine in windows. > > any thoughts on what might be up with this? > any help would be appreciated > > thanx in advance. > > colin. > > > > _______________________________________________ > Video4linux-list mailing list > Video4linux-list@xxxxxxxxxx > https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/video4linux-list Louci se Lukas Gebauer.
