a) I think you're asking on the wrong list
	(unless you're talking about the tuner, in which case you should look
	 at http://www.livid.org/ and sneak a peek at the GATOS project)

b) IIRC, Rage Fury support is sort of available if you use the Mach64 driver
   from XFree86.  I'd highly recommend upgrading to XFree86 4.0.2, since there
   are some major and really neat changes to the ATI driver code.
