tvmixer

Hi

I have a problem with the tvmixer module that is included in bttv (tried
0.7.44 and the version included in the 2.4.0test9 kernel). If I load the
module (btw: is the order of loading the tvmixer module and the other
bttv-modules relevant?), it gets registered by the i2c-driver, however
it seems never to initialize.
I load it with insmod tvmixer debug=1 devnr=1 (I've tried other devnr
too) and I get (/var/log/messages):
Oct 15 18:24:21 ZakTower kernel: i2c-core.o: driver tv card mixer driver
registered.
If I then start up a mixer program (aumix -d /dev/mixer1, have tried
kmix -devnum 2 too), I'll get "error opening mixer device". In the
logfile:
Oct 15 18:24:26 ZakTower modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
sound-slot-1
Oct 15 18:24:26 ZakTower modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module
sound-service-1-0

The strange thing is it worked once, but I don't think I've done
something different??
I then got:
Oct 15 17:47:32 ZakTower kernel: i2c-core.o: driver tv card mixer driver
registered.
Oct 15 17:47:32 ZakTower kernel: tvmixer: debug: Philips PAL
Oct 15 17:47:32 ZakTower kernel: tvmixer: debug: MSP3410D-B4
Oct 15 17:47:32 ZakTower kernel: tvmixer: MSP3410D-B4 (bt848 #0)
registered with minor 16

So, what's going wrong here? Or do I have to include some aliases in
modules.conf to get this to work (I thought I'd need these aliases only
to be able to autoload the tvmixer module).
