In quicktime4linux 1.3 64bit Support was added. xanim can't playback the new files too (was no problem up to version 1.2). The problem is probably that 64bit quicktime format is not backward comparible, therefore old software can't read the new files (anyone who knows the format in detail can comment?). Quicktime 4 for Windows plays the new 1.3 files just fine, so I don't think the quicktime4linux library is broken. Gerd -- Get back there in front of the computer NOW.
