Funny you should mention it - I had to power cycle to recover from a crash the other day when running xawtv on a 2.2.13 kernel with an oldish bttv. It happened twice, but I've not found out why. Never had any problems before having used Linux for about 6 years now.

I'll watch this thread closely!
