Re: Philips SAA7113A Support?

I am trying to create a driver for my Asus V7100 Deluxe Combo which uses the SAA7113. I think it is very easy to build a module based on the SAA7111 driver that is already part of the kernel, since it has a very simular interface (the specs can be downloaded from the philips site).

But since I have no experience with programming drivers I need (lots of) help creating the compete driver for the V7100. Actually it could be part of the NVidia driver (but since it is in binary only form....).

The V7100 uses the following chips:
SAA7113 Video input processor
FQ1216ME/P Tuner
TDA8425 Hifi-audio processor

So I only need to know how to have the components work together in a "wrapper" driver like the BTTV-driver.

So if you want to help....
