Don't mind me; I'm a bit mad. Are you not trying to use a Miro card? Does your card have the ZR36057 or similar MJPEG stuffs that the Miro's have? If so, why not work from the Unified driver? If not, why are you starting here instead of the bttv or similar driver?
The standard Miro DC10/DC10Plus use a philips SAA7110 for the analogue
to digital decoding and a ZR36060 jpeg codec. My card uses the VPX3216
and a combination of a ZR36050 and a ZR36016 for the jpeg stuff. This
card is really a cut down DC30 (The board has DC30D printed on it), that
was sold as a DC10.
I have played around with the Unified driver and I think that is where I
may make some progress. I need to find some VPX32XX i2c initialisation
code. The spec sheet doesn't really go into this (albeit only after a
first casual glance), whereas the SAA7110 spec sheet has example i2c
code for different modes - probably the reason why progress has been
made on this chip.
I'd like to start off using some V4Linux driver and then adapting it.
I've looked at the DC10plus driver and a (very old DC30) driver.
I'm sure I'm not the only one with these questions...
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this card - if anyone else has made
progress I would be grateful to hear from them.
