Hi I have a problem with the tvmixer module that is included in bttv (tried 0.7.44 and the version included in the 2.4.0test9 kernel). If I load the module (btw: is the order of loading the tvmixer module and the other bttv-modules relevant?), it gets registered by the i2c-driver, however it seems never to initialize. I load it with insmod tvmixer debug=1 devnr=1 (I've tried other devnr too) and I get (/var/log/messages): Oct 15 18:24:21 ZakTower kernel: i2c-core.o: driver tv card mixer driver registered. If I then start up a mixer program (aumix -d /dev/mixer1, have tried kmix -devnum 2 too), I'll get "error opening mixer device". In the logfile: Oct 15 18:24:26 ZakTower modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-slot-1 Oct 15 18:24:26 ZakTower modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module sound-service-1-0 The strange thing is it worked once, but I don't think I've done something different??
