Newer Question(Old question posted below): How can I create a small lag (About a tenth of a second) in the video capture with mp1e ++++VER 1.7++++? The sync is incredibly close but the video is ahead (By a tenth of a second)? I cannot get mp1e 1.8 to work correctly (It compiles but bombs on use with a "cannot sync 22 error" or something) but I do have 1.7 pre13 working correctly (almost). I believe I found the spot where I can do this in 1.7. I just have no idea as to what the heck I would put in there.... VER 1.8 Line 77 in systems/mpeg1.c is: d = vtime - atime; Which kind of looks like VER 1.7 Line 555 in main.c printv(3, "Sync vtime=%f, atime=%f\n", vbuf->time, abuf->time); Or is this just for when you use v4l2 so that it lets you know that it is syncing? What would I put in here to get the video to lag? Thanks! Steve OLD QUESTION FOLLOWS! Question: How can I create a small lag (About a tenth of a second) in the video when I capture with mp1e? Answer: Hi Steve, Add an offset at -pre3 systems/mpeg1.c line 77. I suppose you cannot improve audio/oss.c to remove your problem, so it's pointless to discuss the actual cause. Michael
