Re: [V4L] Changing IRQ

Ryan,

I had the exact same problem a few months ago. I thought I had posted the
resolution to this list but it was actually the linux-abit list.

The important bits of information that solved the problem for me were:
1) the bt878 will not share an IRQ
2) PCI slots 4 and 5 cannot *both* have a bus-mastering card in them
(rule of thumb is to leave one of them empty)

here is an excerpt from my linux-abit post (note that I am running
dual-headed with both an AGP and PCI video card):

I found a combination of cards and slots that works!

1. FA310TX NIC
2. BT878 TV card
3. PCI TNT
4. empty
5. es1371 sound

           CPU0 CPU1

  2: 0 0 XT-PIC cascade
  8: 0 1 IO-APIC-edge rtc
  9: 269 277 IO-APIC-level bttv
 11: 191916 190465 IO-APIC-level es1371, eth0
 12: 105221 104249 IO-APIC-edge PS/2 Mouse

 14: 15138 16246 IO-APIC-edge ide0
 15: 12 2 IO-APIC-edge ide1
NMI: 0
ERR: 0

the PCI TNT card is on IRQ 10 but does not show up above
